This blog is for the “What Worlds May Come - Senior Colloquium” course (UHON 495), taught by Dr. Leslie Donovan in the University Honors Program at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM, USA. It provides an easily accessible, electronic space for 400-level Honors students to discuss texts, ideas, and assignments and to develop critical thinking skills through collaborative activity. While anyone may read our work, only class members may post.
I did the nonfiction part of my workbook on the online edition of Wired magazine. The magazine only covered issues in a very superficial manner and never went into depth on any subject. This left me very unimpressed with the magazine. I prefer to have the ability to delve deeper in a subject if I want to without having to do a lit search.

Bah! Where's the verbosity? Where's the tricky wordplay? Where's the beating-about-the-bush?
...You have to admit, though, that Wired.com has an aesthetic charm to its layout and design. Modern!
